Founded in 1877, the Rhode Island School of Design is a 4-year institution. It is in the center of Providence. This college is the the fourth oldest and the 11th biggest institution in the state of Rhode Island. It offers subjects such as art, architecture, and design. The New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education accredits RISD. It is the only art college in Rhode Island.
