A bachelor's level teaching degree typically requires 4 to 5 years of coursework and may be a Bachelor of Science degree, a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, or a Bachelor of Arts degree depending on the institution. While approximately 79% of teaching students at the undergraduate level seek degrees at the masters level, close to 1% of students seek degrees at the doctoral level. Students can pursue graduate level teaching degrees such as Teacher Preparation Program with a Master of Arts in Teaching degrees, Doctor of Philosophy degrees, and Master of Science in Nursing degrees.
