Two US institutions, Arizona State University (ASU) and DeVry University, offer online technical writing degrees. All institutions offer certificates, degrees at the associate's level, degrees at the bachelor's level, degrees at the master's level, and doctorate level degrees to students. In 2010, 16 students graduated with certificates in technical writing, 420 students graduated from technical writing programs at the associate's level, six students graduated from programs that cover technical writing and that are at the bachelor's level, and 14 students graduated from technical writing programs at the master's level.
