Nine US institutions offer online degrees in sociology. All institutions offer certificates, degrees that are at the associate's level, bachelor's level degrees, degrees at the master's level, and degrees that are at the doctorate level to students. In 2010, 1,079 students graduated from programs in sociology which are at the bachelor's level, 42 students graduated from programs that cover sociology and that are at the master's level, and 38 students graduated from sociology programs at the doctorate level.
