Two institutions in the USA, Ashford University and Penn Foster Career School, offer online degrees in journalism. All institutions offer certificates, degrees at the associate's level, degrees at the bachelor's level, degrees at the master's level, and doctorate level degrees to students. In 2010, 988 students graduated from programs in journalism which are at the bachelor's level, 230 students graduated from journalism programs at the master's level, and two students graduated from programs which cover journalism at the doctorate level.
