Five US institutions offer online gerontology degrees. Students are offered certificates, degrees at the associate's level, degrees at the bachelor's level, master's level degrees, and degrees at the doctorate level by all institutions. In 2010, 39 students graduated with gerontology certificates, ten students graduated from gerontology programs that are at the bachelor's level, 41 students graduated from programs in gerontology and at the master's level, and one student graduated from gerontology programs at the doctorate level.
