Generally, a degree in allied health at the bachelor's level requires 4 to 5 years of coursework and depending on the institution, may be a Bachelor of Science degree, a Bachelor of Applied Science degree, or a Bachelor of Technical and Professional Studies degree. Two-thirds of the allied health students at the undergraduate level seek degrees at the masters level, while around 1% of students pursue degrees at the doctoral level. Students can pursue graduate level allied health degrees such as Master of Education degrees. Students may study related subjects such as physical therapy and medical coding.
