An Interview With Trystan
by mjflick

mjflick How did you choose your editor name?
trystan My editor name is also my magickal craft name. I always liked the name "Tristan" but unfortunately using numerology that spelling did not vibrate on the same wavelength as my given name, Jaime. So I changed the "i" to a "y" and it worked. And I've used it as my online "persona" for the last two years.
mjflick Are you enjoying the project so far?
trystan Yes I am. At first it just seemed like an "oh boy, why did I go and get myself into this?" but as I've done more with it, I've come to enjoy it even more. I'd even go as far as to say I enjoy editing here more than the Open Directory. It seems the more energy I put into the project, the more I get out of it. And that makes me want to stay involved and continue to help this project grow.
mjflick What type of movies do you like?
trystan I haven't watched a lot of movies lately, but I love horror films. Not so much the newer "Scream"-style films, but the really old ones from the early silent days up to the mid-1940s. Those are really cool.
mjflick What animal is the ideal pet?
trystan Cats. They are independent, free-thinking, and are quite self-sufficient, as compared to say.. dogs, which have to be trained, and are still not totally self-sufficient.
mjflick What's your favorite movie?
trystan Hmmm... That is really really tough. I recently saw "The Ninth Gate" with Johnny Depp and that was really really cool. But I have to say one of my absolute favorites was "The House of Wax" with Vincent Price. That guy was the Man!
mjflick Do you drink bottled water?
trystan Why, yes, yes I do.
mjflick What part of the open-site forum do you read the most?
trystan Probably the Arts forum.
mjflick What type of music do you like?
trystan All sorts of things! Mostly heavy metal, but I also like industrial, gothic, techno, some punk and alternative. I also enjoy oldies and barbershop :D
mjflick What's your favorite automobile?
trystan LOL... these questions are hard! If money was not an issue, I'd like to own one of the 2003 50th Anniversary Edition Corvettes. Either that or find either a 1957 Chevy Bel Air or a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS to restore.
mjflick Would you like this to be the last question?
trystan LOL.... sure.
