American Kenpo, also referred to as Ed Parker's American Kenpo, Parker Kenpo, EPAK, and AK, is a system designed by Edmund K Parker. The system is comprised on scientific principles and key movements. It officially adopted the name of American Kenpo around the late 70's or early 80's.
