Zamboni

A machine used to resurface the ice. The front portion of the machine scrapes and removes away the top surface of the ice after being damaged by ice skates. The rear portion of the machine releases hot water onto the ice which is simultaneous smoothed out by a squeegee attached to the rearmost edge of the machine. The powerful refrigeration system of the rink itself quickly freezes the water into a fresh, smooth surface.
