Minor Penalty

Lesser offenses that result in a player serving two minutes in the penalty box.

Major Penalty

More serious offenses that result in a player spending five minutes in the penalty box.

Match Penalty

Very serious offenses resulting in not only a five minute penalty, but a game misconduct. The offending player is taken out of the game, and another teammate must serve the five minutes in the penalty box.

Misconduct

Depending on the severity of the offense, a player could receive eithe ra ten minute penalty or a game misconduct, resulting in ejection from the game.
