"Serie A" is the first national division, like the Usa's NBA. This division is managed by the "Lega Società di Pallacanestro – Serie A", an association composed by the teams affiliated to the "Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro" (FIP) and the "Serie A"'s teams.
This association menages everything related to this division, like the events' organizition and the promotion (also the matches' sold to the public tv).
It is broadcasted, on the public italian tv (Rai), only one match per day (in the regular season).
