This is a sort of haphazard group with no central belief system. These individuals often take bits and pieces from religious Satanism, Wicca, ceremonial magick, and other neo-pagan traditions. Many of the practitioners are either teenagers or young adults, and often 'grow out' of these practices rather quickly.
Sometimes, dabblers engage in minor criminal activity such as vandalism, and or sacrificing small animals. These acts of rebellion do not reflect on Satanism as a whole. These people often see Satanism as a way of rebelling against their parents beliefs and have no connection to religious Satanists.
