Churches of Christ are part of a Christian movement often called "The Restoration Movement." In its early days, this movement sought to restore the same Christianity practiced by the early church as recorded in the New Testament. Churches of Christ today continue that mission. Though most do not consider themselves "the only Christians," they strive to "be Christians only."
