General Information

Journalism is the profession of reporting, editing, photography or filming news for newspapers, magazines, television news, radio news, websites and other media. The term can also refer to the media or the press, or to the material published by the media. Those employed or involved in the journalism process are known as journalists.

Investigative journalism is provided by a variety of publications and media, especially by television. Many websites provide extended coverage of continuing world news stories and major Unite States national news stories. Many people question the sensationalism of investigative journalism, especially in situations where 'human interest' stories are chosen over major news.
