U. S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania
Nominated by Theodore Roosevelt on January 14, 1908, to a seat vacated by Nathaniel Ewing; Confirmed by the Senate on January 22, 1908, and received commission on January 22, 1908. Service terminated on February 25, 1914, due to death.
