Varner, Robert Edward

Nominated by Richard M. Nixon on February 10, 1971, to a new seat created by 84 Stat. 294; Confirmed by the Senate on April 21, 1971, and received commission on April 23, 1971. Served as chief judge, 1979-1984. Assumed senior status on June 12, 1986.
