Inch, Robert Alexander

Federal Judicial Service:
U. S. District Court, Eastern District of New York
Received a recess appointment from Warren G. Harding on April 28, 1923, to a seat vacated by Thomas Ives Chatfield; nominated on December 15, 1923; Confirmed by the Senate on January 8, 1924, and received commission on January 8, 1924. Served as chief judge, 1948-1958. Assumed senior status on January 6, 1958. Service terminated on January 12, 1961, due to death.
