U. S. District Court, District of Maine
Nominated by Theodore Roosevelt on May 13, 1902, to a seat vacated by Nathan Webb; Confirmed by the Senate on May 19, 1902, and received commission on May 19, 1902. Assumed senior status on January 1, 1922. Service terminated on April 9, 1934, due to death.
