Overview

The Northern Sky looks out, away from the Galactic centre, where most of the visable stars are located. These stars are visable from the Northern Hemisphere. Some of the best known Northern Constellations are Ursa Major and Minor, Cassiopeia, Pegasus and Andromeda, and Boötes.

  • September: Little Dipper, Cepheus, Cygnus the Swan, Cassiopeia, Piscis Austrinis, Pegasus, and Aquarius.
