CBN is a major national television network, while Globo and Disney's sports network ESPN serve radio and television audiences throughout the country. Gazeta Mercantil and Valor Economico are the major business papers, while national newspapers like Jornal do Brasil and A Gazeta Esportiva serve the nation with general news in Portuguese. Rio de Janeiro is served by Radio Rio and a variety of local newspapers.
In Argentina, newspapers include Ambito Financiero covering business news, and there other titles like El Ascenso. There is a strong passion for soccer in Argentina, as there is Brazil.
Media in Chile, as in both Brazil and Argentina, are dominated by Spanish. There appears to be a strong focus by the media on the city of Santiago compared to other cities.
