Overview

The Argentinean Government has been operating four UV monitoring instruments since 1994. All four instruments are GUV-511s and are located at Jujuy, Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn (Chubut), and Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego). These instruments collect data every minute in five channels. The person to contact about these instruments is Luis Orce.

In addition, the National Science Foundation also has an instrument in Ushuaia as part of its UV monitoring program.
