Tauranga Bay is a surfing beach near Westport. From Westport, it can be reached by Cape Foulwind Road and Tauranga Bay Road in around 20 minutes. Nearby the Cape Foulwind Seal Colony can be viewed after a gentle 10-minute walk. The walk between Cape Foulwind and Tauranga Bay is a scenic coastal route.
