Kuaeranga Valley is a valley leading up the hills from the township of Thames. The Kuaeranga River and a minor road follow the valley, around which walking tracks, picnic spots, camping grounds and accomadation huts are located. The bush setting and proximity to Thames makes thhis valley popular among visitors.
