Whangaroa Bay is a bay near Doubtless Bay. Cone Island and Stevenson Island are located offshore. Bays along the shore include Frear Bay, Camp Bay, Taupo Bay, Tauranga Bay and East Bay. An inlet leads to Waitapu Bay and Whangaroa Harbour. Around the shores of Whangaroa Harbour is Whangaroa, Waitaruke, Sales and Totara North.
