Herekino Harbour is situated south of Ahipara in the Far North of New Zealand. Herekino is situated in the bay and the settlement of Manukau is located further on Kaitaia-Ahipara Road. A short distance off shore from the harbour's entrance is the 1846 shipwreck of the HMS Osprey.
