Overview

Marahau is located on the south-eastern corner of Abel Tasman National Park at the mouth of the Marahau River in Sandy Bay. It is a popular visitor attraction with water taxis and kayaks providing access to the Abel Tasman Natinoal Park by water, while the Tasman Coastal Track provides access by foot. The town also offers opportunties to swim with the seals.
