Hanmer Springs is an alpine vilalge popular among travellers local and abroad. The village is located 385m above sea level and is best known for the award-winning Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve which provides relaxing hot pools that operate year-round.
The 500,000 visitors that enjoy the village each year also come for the horse trekking, skiing, 50km of fores tracks, mountain biking and massages. The village has a scenic golf course and offers quad bikes, motorbike and helicopter adventures.
