Mairangi Bay is just north of Campbells Bay. The local beach is home to the Mairangi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club and North Shore's only professional lifeguard. Jest skis and small dinghies can be launched from the beach but care should be taken to avoid swimmers. The beach has a reserve and seaside parking to cater for summer crouds. A shopping centre is located near the beach reserve.
