Description

The Bombay Hills are a group of hills that separate the Auckland and Waikato regions. The Bombay township is located on State Highway One and exists primarily to service travellers and commuters. The town is home to many motorway conveniences including a petrol station, restaurants and diners, fresh produce markets and the Franklin Information Centre. The area is named after an 1850's settler's ship.
