Overview

Mooloolaba lies one hour's drive north of Brisbane and forms part of the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

The township is situated along the Mooloolaba Beach and combines open air restaurants, small retail outlets and tall accomodation blocks.

The beach is long and encloses a bay which is reasonably protected toward the south near the mouth of the Mooloolaba River.

Features

The Mooloolaba Wharf is on the river side of the town and is a retail, restaurant and entertainment area. It contains UnderWater World which features a wide arrange of marine life inculding seals, sharks, otters, a hands on area, and a large underwater observatory.
There are a number of education and entertainment shows and fixed displays.
