Health 2020: a vision for the future
On 17 December 2002, Queensland Health Minister Wendy Edmond released the Smart State: Health 2020 Directions Statement. It identified current trends in Queensland's health and health services with details of future long and short term challenges. The statement gave details of how the state government was to address those challenges in strategic planning across Government and throughout the Queensland Health Department.
