Overview

The eastern United States has a reasonably mild climate, with more extreme temperatures recorded in central states. Western coastlines and closer Pacific Islands have a tropical, wet temperature. Canada has a rather cool temperature, with a polar climate above the Arctic Circle, Southampton Island and the Ungava Peninsula.
