Business and Economy of Arizona

The economic product (GSP or gross state product) of the Arizona in 2003 was 182 billion dollars. The state produces various commodities including cattle, dairy products, lettuce and cotton.

Electronic equipment and electronics manufacturing are notable industries. From 2000 to 2003 the GSP increased by 6.63%. Arizona's GSP represents 1.67% percent of the combined GSP of the fifty states and the District of Columbia. Arizona leads the nation in copper production.

Arizona's leading exports are computers and electronic products, transportation equipment, machinery, appliances and appliance parts.
