United Arab Emirates is located in a middle of the desert and was quite hot most of the year. The climate has changed drastically over the last 20 years and has become much cooler due to the increase in greenery.
The climate has very high seasonal temperature variation. The country has two seasons Summer and Winter. Summer comes for 8 months, from March to December. Temperatures in summer can reach up to 45 degrees Celsius during its peak in July. In winter between the months November to Feburary the temperature drops and at times is 10 degrees celcius.
Storms are not frequent in the UAE and rarely do they ever get violent.
Terrain: flat, barren coastal plain merging into rolling sand dunes of vast desert wasteland; mountains in east.
