Primary Mission

The primary mission of The Consumer Rights Protection Centre is to protect consumer rights and interests. The Centre also carries out market supervision in the area of non-food products and services and advertising supervision. The Centre organizes and co-ordinates co-operation between institutions involved in market surveillance and control of consumer protection legislation, provides legal advice to consumers including assisting consumers to resolve conflicts between consumers and producers, organizes quality testing of goods obtained and services used by consumers and also provides advice to producers, sellers and service suppliers on their obligations, rights and responsibilities under consumer rights protection legislation.

Supporting Agencies

Food and Veterinary Agency – supervises distribution and quality of food products, distribution and quality of veterinary products.
State Sanitary inspection – supervises trade of chemical products and cosmetics.
State Pharmaceutical inspection – supervises producing and distribution of medical devices, deals with complaints about medicine and serving drugstores.
Construction inspection – supervises construction operations and conformity of the construction materials.
