Not much frankly, there is however a somwhat oddball family festival held there in the beginning of july each year, it´s called the "Humarhátíð" wich translates as the "Lobster Festival" and it has all the usual discoteques, rock concerts featuring local talent, art shows, poertry readings plus all the usual that you will expect at a local family orientated festival. Lovers of horses will also be at home there since there are at the least 4 horse rental operations in or just outside of the town.
