Burundi is a country in Africa. In Burundi hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in fighting between the Hutu and Tutsi people, including the president in 1993 who was the first to be chosen by the grown-ups of Burundi. On 1 November 2001 a new government was set up to organize elections, but the fighting has not stopped.
