A toy is something you play with. There are many different types of toys, like dolls or building blocks. Many toys are small versions of real things, like cars or trucks.

Building Blocks

A building block is a small box or cube made of wood or plastic. You can use building blocks to make walls, towers or buildings. LEGO is a type of building block.

Yo-Yo

A yo-yo is a type of toy attached to some string. You hold the other end of the string and let the toy move up and down.

Abacus

An abacus is a toy with beads placed on wires that are joined to a wooden frame. When you have an abacus you can count the beads by moving them one-by-one along the wire.
