Space is all the things in the night's sky.

Astronomy is the study of space, including the sun, other planets, moon and the stars in the sky.

Astronauts

An astronaut is a person who travels around in space in a spacecraft. The most famous astronaut in the world is Neil Armstrong, who was the first person to land on the moon.

Asteroids

Asteroids are small planets in space. Most asteroids fly in 'orbit' around the sun and the planets of Mars and Jupiter.

Galaxies

A galaxy is a group of many stars in space. Our solar system is in the Milky Way galaxy. There are thousands of other galaxies as well.
