A laboratory is a room or a building scientists do experiments in. The laboratory has lots of scientific equipment and it can be dangerous.
When you are in a science laboratory in school or a visitng a laboratory, you should always be careful so you don't get hurt, hurt others or damage equipment.
Remember:
Only enter when a teacher is there.
Wear shoes to protect your feet.
Don't eat or drink in a science laboratory.
Don't run around in the laboratory.
Don't taste things and only smell things if you are told to by a teacher when you are doing experiments.
Don't play with equipment in the laboratory.
Wash you hands after doing experiments.
Listen to the instructions the teacher gives you.

Experiments are things you do to check if somethng you or someone says, called a hypothesis, is right.
If you observe something you look at it very carefully and watch what happens to it. When you do a science experiment, you need to make observations of what happens.

A Bunsen burner is something you use in science to make a flame. You can change the flame from an orange to a more powerful blue flame. Because Bunsen burners are dangerous, you should follow classroom rules, always use safety equipment, always listen to your teacher and never play with Bunsen burners.
