School

We learn new things everyday. School is a place where we learn interesting new things and useful skills that we might need when we get a job when we're grown-ups.

A lesson is a period at school when you do one subject. It can also be something important you learn.

Most lectures take place at school or university. When you listen to a lecture, you listen as part of an audience to a person talking about something.

License

A license is something, usually a piece of paper or cardboard, which says that you are allowed to do something. For example, a grown-up needs a license to drive a car.
