Organizations

An organization is an organised group of different people who are all trying to do something together. Organizations often rely on volunteers and donations from people to keep going because they don’t make any money from what they do. A lot of planning is needed to start an organization and keep it going.

Activism

Activism is something a person or a group of people do to try and make something change or stop something changing, like protest. They do it because they don't like the change that is going to happen or they want change from how things are. Going on strike or protesting about a forest that is being cut down could be two types of actvism.
