Cultural anthropologist study how people talk and learn their own culture. They also compare and contrast cultures so that people who are different can better understand each other.

Folklore are passed down through generations of people by talking and not by writing. There is folklore in many cultures and folk-tales, songs, riddles and proverbs are all types of folklore.
