Card Game

A card game is something you can play for fun with small pieces of paper or cardboard that each have different pictures or words on them. Most card games are played with special cards called playing cards.

Playing Cards

Playing cards are a special type of card. There are 52 different playing cards in a ‘pack’ as well as 2 jokers. Of the 52 cards, there are 13 black spades, 13 black clubs, 13 red diamonds and 13 red hearts. Each of these groups of 13 cards is called a ‘set’.

The ace is can be the highest or lowest card in a suit of a pack of cards.
