ストーリー

クッパは願い事の叶う「スターの杖」を奪い取り、杖の力を使って、星の精を捕らえた。
星の子が宮殿に駆け付けたときには、杖も星の精もすでに奪われていた。
その事件を知らないマリオたちにピーチ姫からのパーティの招待状が届いた。
マリオとルイージ何も知らずにキノコ城へ向かっていった・・・。
