Überblick

Bei der Liste der nichtselbständigen Gebiete handelt sich dabei um Territorien (Gebiete), die nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe der Heimatstaaten liegen. Hauptsächlich handelt es sich dabei um Inseln, Gebiete aus früheren Kolonialzeiten und Gebiete mit einem Sonderstatus.
