Überblick

Die unbewohnten Prinz-Eduard- und Marioninseln - (Prince Edward and Marion Islands) gehören zu Südafrika und unterstehen der südafrikanischen Provinz Cape of Good Hope. Die beiden vulkanischen Inseln sind knapp 20 km voneinander entfernt und liegen im südlichen Antarktischen Ozean, zwischen Südafrika und der Antarktis, etwa 1.800 km südwestlich von Port Elisabeth.
