Begriffserklärung

Die Software ist ein vom Programmierer geschriebenes Programm (Programmiersprache), dass speziell für Computer aller Art entwickelt wird. Diese Software funktioniert nur in Verbindung mit einer Computerhardware, ohne die Hardware ist keine Funktion (grafische Darstellung, Speicherung) der Software möglich. Man unterscheidet dabei in System- und Anwendungssoftware.
