政治學

政治學是對政治、國家及其他活動進行研究的學科。現代政治學研究的主要對像包括了政府或其他任何相似的組織機構﹐例如工會、企業、教會等等。 政治學家也研究在策過程中權力的轉移﹐因為這種複雜的互動常常引起利益衝突。政治學也經常與暴力的避免有關。

第二次世界大戰結束後﹐與社會學、經濟學和法學密切相關的一個政治學分支﹐國際關係開始變得越來越重要。隨著時間的演化﹐國家關係或國際政治的研究方法也已經與政治學有了較大的差別。
